The Webby awards celebrates the best of the internet. Essentially, the Oscars of the web. The academy is an “intellectually diverse organization” that rewards excellence on the internet in a variety of categories including news, music, and comedy. It looks at a variety of aspects including usability, design, and innovation. The current 2009 winners have just been announced, and parts of the award show are available through Youtube.
