The weather caused a mess in Europe just before winter holidays. Canceled flights and trains everywhere. Thankfully Eurostar sorted themselves out and we only had to wait 2.5 hours to start our trip from London to Paris.

Gabor Szilasi is a documentary photographer renowned for his humanitarian vision. His fascination with daily life has led him to search for images that show the traces of man’s presence – be it photos of people, interiors, vernacular architecture and urban landscapes. This exhibition of 124 portraits will be on display at the NGC until January 17th. More information and videos available here. images.
Here is a look at Cuba seen exclusively through reflective surfaces such as puddles, windows, windshields etc. These images have only been treated with standard darkroom techniques such as dodging and burning. No photoshop effects, filters or actions have been applied. images.
